Our Process

| The Overflow Plan

You've done the hard part. Our five-step process handles the rest, taking you from your first conversation with us all the way to a complete plan that's built around your life. Every step has a purpose. We learn who you are, build your written strategy, implement it with full transparency, and stay with you through every stage of retirement. We stay with you to make sure it keeps working.

1. Your Decision

Every great plan starts with a choice. You decided to take retirement seriously, and that decision brought you here. Before we talk numbers or strategies, we want to make sure this feels right. This step is about you getting a feel for who we are, how we work, and whether we're the right fit for who you want to work with.

2. Your Story

Retirement is a personal story. Before we build anything, we need to understand yours. We learn about your hopes, your dreams, your goals and your aspirations; not just the facts on paper. The more we know about your story, the better your plan will be.

3. Your Vision

This is where your plan starts to take shape. We walk through all six elements of the Overflow Plan together: Stability, Security, Resilience, Growth, Retention, and Legacy. Then we assess which areas need the most attention. By the end of this step, you have a written roadmap built around your life.

4. Your Complete Plan

Your vision becomes a strategy. Every recommendation we make ties directly to your plan. Nothing gets proposed that doesn't belong there. You see exactly what we're doing and why. Full transparency, every step of the way.

5. Our Community

The plan doesn't stop at implementation. Annual reviews, ongoing monitoring, and a community of people who are living the Overflow life keep your plan current as your life evolves. This is a long-term relationship. Not a one-time transaction.

| What Guides Everything We Do

Three hallmarks shape every meeting, every recommendation, and every decision we make together. They're not a promise.

They're how we operate.

Stewardship

We treat your retirement like it's our own. Every recommendation, every strategy, every meeting, it all starts with your best interest. Stewardship isn't a policy we follow. It's the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.

Transparency

Transparency means we can always explain what we did and why. Every recommendation ties back to your plan. Every decision has a reason. And every step of our work together gets documented so that reason is never lost.

Technology

Retirement is more complex than it used to be. We use technology to make it simpler. From the tools we use to build your plan to the Generational Vault. Everything is organized and available whenever you need it.

FAQ's

Common questions

Here's some questions people ask us

What Actually Happens In Our First Meeting?

We get to know you. That's it. No products, no presentations, no pressure. Our first meeting is about understanding your story. Where you are, where you want to go, and what's standing in the way. Everything we build starts there.

How Long Does It Take To Get A Complete Plan?

Most clients have a complete written plan within two to three meetings. We don't rush it, but we don't drag it out either. Every meeting has a purpose and moves you closer to a strategy you can actually feel good about.

What If I'm Already Working With Someone Else?

That's more common than you think. We're not here to replace anyone. We're here to make sure your retirement picture is complete. If there are gaps in your current plan, we'll find them. If everything looks good, we'll tell you that too.
